Ben Morrison founded Made Simpler in 2021 after spending years watching talented business owners struggle with marketing that never seemed to work.

The pattern was always the same: hire an agency, spend months getting “set up,” see reports full of metrics that didn’t connect to revenue, and eventually cancel — convinced that marketing just doesn’t work for businesses like theirs.

It does work. It just needs to be done differently.

Ben is the author of ‘The Great Google Shakedown: How a Monopoly Killed Organic Search — And What to Do About It’, a book documenting how Google’s algorithmic changes have systematically disadvantaged small and mid-market businesses — and what to do about it.

He’s based in North Ogden, Utah, active in the Silicon Slopes tech community, and operates with a simple philosophy: pay it forward. The businesses we help today become the businesses that refer us tomorrow.
